Oz Journal Article (vol 42) publishes "Painting up the Side of Everest" article | November 2020


Kansas State University's Oz Journal published an article on how Eccher discovered his style. The article, title "Painting up the Side of Everest," includes 11 different pieces of his over the years.



 
 
R | A | Modern Now Showing My Paintings in Crested Butte, CO | July 2019


I'm excited to say that my work is now being represented by R | A | Modern in Crested Butte, CO. The gallery is progressive in its taste, as well as its marketing and promotion. Not only will my pieces be sold in the gallery, but they also will be included in interior design efforts throughout the ski area valley. I even sold my first painting three days after delivering my first pieces.



 
 
ECCHER & ECCHER art show | May 2019





Eccher and his daughter, Mikayla, held an art show together at Old Town Art & Framery on May 5, 2019, in which a crowd of a couple hundred friends, family and community members attended. It was her first ever public show outside her school district shows, and it was Eccher's first show for nearly three years. Mikayla sold nearly $1,200 of her pottery and collages.

Eccher was asked to present at Loveland Startupweek's session "Art and Technology: The Divide is Imaginary" on April 7, 2017. He spoke with other technology artists about a new renaissance of art that's influenced by technology.



 
 
Tiered Painting Commission for The Music District | February 2017





"The Sound of Creation" is a 48"x60" commission Eccher painted for The Bohemian Foundation and The Music District in Fort Collins. The painting represents the thoughts creating music and music creating thoughts in the Fort Collins music scene.



 
 
Tiered Painting Exhibition at Opera House in Bregenz, Austria September 20-22, 2016





Eccher was paid to show my Tiered Paintings September 20-22, 2016, in Bregenz, Austria, at LpS (LED professional Symposium) 2016. LED technology is extremely progressive and a priority in Europe, and LpS is Europe's foremost LED lighting technology event. The event was held at Bregenzer Festspiele, the opera house, which is home to the largest floating opera in the world. Eccher painted 24 12"x12" paintings specifically for the show to demonstrate the various options that can be accomplished with Tiered Paintings. He appeared on several news stations in the area.

Packed Gallery at Tiered Painting Premier on December 5, 2015





December 5, 2015, marked the first time Eccher had ever showed his tiered paintings to the public.









 
 
Spring Exhibition Titled "Vertical" Held April 1-5, 2015





Eccher had 270 people attend his First Friday show where he sold several originals, giclees and watercolor prints.






 
 
Fire Sale Show at Whole Foods October 10, 2014





Eccher held his annual Whole Foods Show on October 10, 2014. While the turnout was low, nearly everyone who came purchased at least one piece.


 
 
Museum and Gallery Exhibitions August 1, 2014





Eccher had two exhibitions, within two blocks of each other, during August and September:

Fort Collins Museum of Art's "Artistic Eye on History: Fort Collins 150"
He was fortunate enough to be selected as one of 15 local artists to have pieces included in the show (six of the 22 pieces in the show), which was held from July 25 to September 28. He ended up selling two pieces, which are now prints sold in various locations in Fort Collins.

150 People Attend "Fields, Flows, and Jumps" Show




 
 
February 3-9 show was a huge success





Eccher's sold several pieces at his show at the Carnegie Center, which was held February 3-9. The show featured more than 30 original pieces.
